For years, growers trusted us to provide dependable microgreen seeds backed by real growing experience. We built Greener Harvest by listening to growers, testing seed lots, and understanding what farmers need because we have grown microgreens ourselves.

Then life changed in a way we never expected.

Why Greener Harvest Stepped Away

In late 2024, our daughter developed a serious brain infection that required emergency surgery and an extended stay in the intensive care unit. What followed was an incredibly difficult season for our family, including additional procedures, ongoing medical care, and a long road toward recovery.

During that time, our priorities had to change. Family came first.

Stepping away from the business and the growing community we loved was not an easy decision. Greener Harvest was never simply a website selling seeds. It represented years of hard work, relationships with growers, and a mission we deeply believed in.

Although we stepped away, the desire to serve growers never disappeared.

A New Partnership and a Stronger Foundation

The return of Greener Harvest Seed Co. became possible through a partnership between Josh Schaver and Andy Mussaw of Fresh Source Farms.

This partnership brings together practical growing experience, industry knowledge, and a shared understanding of the challenges microgreen farmers face. We know that growers cannot afford inconsistent germination, unreliable suppliers, or seed that fails when customers are counting on a harvest.
